Summer is just around the corner!
Our children’s program is divided up in two age groups by gender, 8 to 12 and 13 to 18 years old.
Camp California offers you a great place to spend your summer. Everyone at camp is just like you, looking to become healthier.

Your camp counsellors are qualified individuals who offer you guidance, direction and positive motivation while at Camp California. Our counsellors are not only experts in the field of nutritional well being, they are also highly skilled in many types of athletic activities such as; cheerleading, basketball, soccer, tennis and racquetball to name of few. We require that all of our counsellors like to have fun. Our goal is to achieve fitness and health in a fun environment. Our camp is different from most. You will not be residing in a cabin situated in the woods with shared accommodations. You will have your own private room on campus residence. Your activities will take place both indoors and outdoors across from the Queens University campus.

Camp California will show you some of Ontario’s best attractions this summer. Once a week campers will go off campus to enjoy many of Ontario’s largest attractions such as; Canada’s Wonderland, Centre Island, 1000 Islands Boat Cruise and Wet and Wild Park just to name a few. Admission to the parks is part of your tuition. The fun doesn’t happen just once a week. campers will have the opportunity to attend other events such as; movie nights, dances, arts and crafts, karaoke, drama, bowling, learning photography basics and other nightly activities.

While having fun at Camp California, campers can expect to lose a minimum of four pounds in two weeks and up to thirty plus pounds over the duration of the full summer program. Children will learn how to read nutrition labels and understand them. They will learn about healthy eating choices and how to make good choices of their own in order to help them continue their healthy lifestyle. Campers will learn about exercise while learning that you don’t have to sweat bullets every minute of every day to become fit and healthy. Exercises can be made fun and simple. We continually stress to our children the importance of eating right and not falling victim to fad diets and other unhealthy eating patterns. While at camp your children will find healthy and nutritious meals served with generous food portions. We don’t believe in starving children to lose weight. Your child will eat the basic requirements they need to participate in a program such as ours. When your child leaves Camp California they will be armed with the most important thing in maintaining a healthy body............KNOWLEDGE!

Your Teen will experience positive results at Camp California. Teens are given options to help develop their own unique program to suit their likes and dislikes. Every young adult is unique in their own way so their program should be too! We do our best to help teen’s learn and develop new skills and interest while achieving their health & fitness goals.
